All guests are encouraged to bring their own seating for those sitting in the East Mall grass area space.

Known for their chart-topping hits and electrifying performances, The Fray promises an unforgettable night of anthemic tunes and high-energy vibes. Join us as we sing along to classics like "How to Save a Life" and "You Found Me" under the stars!

Friday, July 12:
Barenaked Ladies - SOLD OUT! 

Barenaked Ladies brings infectious energy and genre-defying sound to the stage along with playful lyrics and catchy melodies. Concert-goers will be on their feet dancing and singing along to their favorites, from “If I Had $1,000,000” and “Pinch Me” to “One Week” and “The Big Bang Theory Theme.”

Saturday, July 27:
Gin Blossoms - SOLD OUT! 

With their timeless hits like "Hey Jealousy" and "Follow You Down," Gin Blossoms will transport you back to the '90s with their melodic tunes and heartfelt lyrics. Join us for a night of pure nostalgia and feel-good vibes!



2:30 PM: East Mall closes for sound check. Guests will not be allowed in the East Mall area during this time.
5:00: Surrounding exhibits close.
5:30 PM: Titus and Brutus VIP guests may access the East Mall concert venue.
6:00 PM:  General admission guests may access the East Mall concert venue.
6:30 PM: Meet with Animal Ambassadors on the East Mall.
7:30 PM: Concert starts!



Event Entry & Zoo Admission

Guests may scan their tickets at North and South Gate entrances to receive their concert wristbands. Wristbands will be required to enter the East Mall concert venue starting at 5:30 p.m. for VIPs and 6:00 p.m. for General Admissions.  


It is recommended that any guests interested in sitting in the East Mall grass area in front of the stage bring their own seating. All guests can set up seating in the East Mall grass area after their designated concert entry times. Guests may not leave seating or other items in the concert venue before concert entry. Items left unattended before the concert entry times will be sent to lost and found. 


General Admission Guests: Starting at 6:00 p.m., general admissions guests may present their wristbands to enter the concert venue at either of the two main East Mall entry points. GA guests will have access to the concert venue to place their chairs or blankets to secure lawn seating. GA guests will not have access to the Beer Garden seating or ITW.  


VIP Guests: Starting at 5:30 p.m., both Brutus and Titus VIP guests may present their wristbands at any entry point including the designated VIP entry point at the southwest of the concert venue entrance near Edith’s Snow cones to enter. VIP guests must present their IDs at food and beverage locations as all VIP areas are 21 and older only. No one under 21 will be allowed at the VIP locations. 


Titus Package VIPs have first access to the concert venue to place their chairs or blankets to secure lawn seats. The Beer Garden and its picnic table seating will be open to Titus and Brutus VIPs throughout the concert. 


Brutus Package VIPs have first access to the concert venue to place their chairs or blankets to secure lawn seats. Brutus VIPs are invited to visit the ITW building for complimentary food, beverage, and swag items as well as private bathrooms from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Follow the Wild Encounters pathway from the VIP concert venue entry point for quick access. The Beer Garden and its picnic table seating will be open to Titus and Brutus VIPs throughout the concert. 


Bag Checks & Venue Entry

For the safety of everyone, bags will be checked at most East Mall concert venue entry points. Prohibited items including alcohol, weapons, glass, and more will not be allowed in the venue. Please review the full list of prohibited items prior to concert attendance.

Food, Beverages, and Additional Experiences

Enjoy after-hours access to animal habitats, food and beverage options, and experiences: 
•Visit several of the Zoo’s animal habitats open until 7 p.m., including the newly renovated Seven Seas Underwater Viewing Gallery, Sea Lion Cove, Big Cats, Hamill Family Wild Encounters, Desert’s Edge, and Clouded Leopard Rainforest. 
•Take a spin on The Carousel until 7 p.m. (extra fees apply) 
•View the Chicago skyline from 110 feet up in the Zoo’s Anniversary Ferris Wheel, last ticket sold at 8:15 p.m. (extra fees apply) 
•Experience a wide selection of delicious food and beverage items available for purchase at the Tacos Caja and the Coop food trucks, Graze, BZ Red Hots, and a variety of food and beverage carts throughout the East Mall.

Concerts: Park Rules

Promote a Family-Friendly Atmosphere: Help us maintain a family-friendly environment by refraining from behavior or language that may be offensive or inappropriate for children. Let's all work together to create a positive and enjoyable experience for attendees of all ages, ensuring that everyone can have fun in a safe and welcoming atmosphere. 

Respect Wildlife: Please refrain from disturbing or feeding the animals within the Zoo premises. Do not approach, attempt to touch, or harass any animals during the concert. 

Keep the Venue Clean: Help us maintain the cleanliness of the concert venue and surrounding areas by disposing of trash and recyclables in designated bins provided throughout the park. 

Follow Staff Instructions: Please comply with instructions given by zoo staff, security personnel, and event organizers at all times to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees. 

No Outside Alcohol: For the safety of our animals and guests, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted within the concert venue. Refreshments and snacks will be available for purchase at designated concession stands. 

Alcohol Policy: Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase and consumption only in designated areas with valid ID. Intoxicated or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises. 

Respect Fellow Attendees: Be considerate of fellow concert-goers by refraining from disruptive behavior, including loud talking, shouting, or engaging in any form of harassment or misconduct. 

Stay within Designated Areas: Concert attendees are required to remain within designated areas of the Zoo's concert venue and refrain from accessing restricted areas or animal exhibits without proper authorization. 

Smoking Policy: Smoking, vaping, and the use of other tobacco products are prohibited within the concert venue and all indoor areas of the Zoo. Designated smoking areas are available outside the venue. 

Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited within the concert venue: weapons, illegal substances, laser pointers, drones, large umbrellas, glass, and any other items deemed unsafe or disruptive by Zoo staff. 

Emergency Procedures: In the event of an emergency or evacuation, please follow instructions provided by Zoo staff and proceed calmly to designated emergency exits and assembly points. 

By attending the concert at Brookfield Zoo Chicago, all guests agree to abide by these park rules and regulations. Failure to comply may result in removal from the premises without refund. Thank you for your cooperation, and enjoy the concert!
